The Green Label — also known as Blanton's Special Reserve — was produced primarily for export markets and is now a highly collectible expression. Two decades of additional time in the bottle have allowed this whiskey to mellow and integrate beautifully, offering a drinking experience that simply cannot be replicated with a current release.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Gentle vanilla, soft caramel, dried apricot, and a whisper of aged oak
Palate: Smooth and approachable — honeyed sweetness, light baking spice, toasted nuts, and subtle floral notes
Finish: Soft, warm, and lingering with a delicate sweetness and fading oak
