Drew Estate Liga Privada Único Serie Papas Fritas Cigar

A compact powerhouse that delivers the signature richness of Liga Privada in a quick, flavor-packed smoke. Named “French Fries” in Spanish, the Papas Fritas was created from the premium chaveta cuts and Grade 1 tobacco trimmings of other Liga Privada blends—turning what would otherwise be waste into one of the finest tripa corta (short-filler) cigars ever made.

Handcrafted in Estelí, Nicaragua at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate, these sturdy little smokes are designed to punch well above their weight class. They offer the core Liga Privada experience—spicy, rich, and full of character—without the longer smoking time or higher price of the larger Liga lines.

Flavor Profile

Expect bold notes of cocoa, dark coffee/espresso, leather, earth, and black pepper, often with underlying sweetness, bread, or spice. The Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper contributes the classic oily, rich Liga character, while the carefully sorted short-filler blend keeps the smoke consistent and intensely flavorful from the first draw to the last.

Why It’s Special

The Papas Fritas are meticulously assembled: tobaccos are hand-sorted by leaf variety and thickness, cut to uniform size, and blended for consistency. The result is a short but satisfying cigar that holds a solid ash, produces plenty of smoke, and captures the heart of the Liga Privada No. 9 experience in a convenient format perfect for when time is limited.

Ideal for Liga fans looking for an everyday or on-the-go option, or for anyone who wants a bold, complex petit corona that delivers far more flavor than its size suggests. Pair it with a bourbon barrel-aged stout or root beer for a classic match.
