I don’t normally go for high rye bourbons but I do like old granddad. It doesn’t have the white pepper of other high ryes but it boarders on a minty-menthol note on the finish. Purely on price for a full bottle I’d go for the bonded rather than the 114. It’s about £10 cheaper and a litre bottle.
