How to Use Boveda

Using Boveda couldn't be simpler — that's part of the appeal.

1. Choose the right RH level. For most cigars, 65% or 69% RH is ideal. If you prefer a slightly more moist smoke, 72% works well. Check the manufacturer's recommendation if unsure.
2. Choose the right size. Boveda comes in several sizes — from the small 8g packs for travel cases and small humidors, up to the large 320g packs for cabinet humidors. A general rule: one 60g pack per 25 cigars.
3. Place it in your humidor. Simply place the Boveda pack inside your humidor alongside your cigars. No activation, no soaking, no fuss.
4. Leave it to work. Boveda will automatically bring your humidor to the correct RH level and maintain it. Check every few months.
