The 10 Year Old expression was a step above the standard Ancient Age range, offering genuine age and complexity at an accessible price point. The 2005 release captures the distillery in a particularly fine period, with bourbon laid down in the late 1990s when production standards were meticulous and warehouse conditions ideal. Expect deep caramel and butterscotch, with notes of toasted oak, dried cherry, and warm baking spice, underpinned by the classic Buffalo Trace mash bill character and a long, satisfying finish.
