While Boveda packs are perfectly safe to place directly alongside your cigars, you might prefer to tuck them neatly out of the way — so the first thing you see when you open your humidor is your collection, not your humidity packs.
The Boveda Metal Holder mounts inside your humidor lid using either the included hook-and-loop strips or the magnetic sheet kit — both are supplied in the box. It's a small touch that makes a real difference to the overall presentation.
How to Install
Step 1 — Prepare the Humidor Surface
Wipe down the underside of the humidor lid with a dry cloth.
Choose either the enclosed metal sheet or the magnetic sheet, then peel off the paper backing to expose the adhesive. (If using the hook-and-loop kit, affix the soft-sided strips to the humidor instead.)
With the sticky side facing up, press the sheet firmly against the humidor lid and hold for 60 seconds. If you hear any cracking, ease off the pressure.
Step 2 — Prepare the Aluminium Holder
Wipe down the holder with a dry cloth.
Place the holder on a hard, flat surface.
Peel the paper backing from the remaining sheet and press the sticky side onto the back of the holder. Hold for 60 seconds — again, ease off if you hear any cracking.
Step 3 — Allow to Set
Leave the adhesive to cure for 24 hours.
After 24 hours, slot your Boveda Size 60 into the holder and attach it to the inside of your humidor lid.
Installing in a Hard-Sided Portable Humidor
Cut a cavity the size of the holder into the foam padding of the lid.
Slip the Boveda pack into the holder, then nestle the holder into the cutout.
Important Notes
Do not mix different RH (Relative Humidity) levels within the same humidor.
Do not use Boveda alongside other humidification products — they will counteract each other and reduce efficiency.
