The Crowned Heads Broadway Robusto Extra concentrates Connecticut Broadleaf richness into a compact 4 3/4-inch × 52 format. Named after Nashville’s Broadway, this 2025 line was the first Crowned Heads release to feature the company logo on its main band.
Rolled at NACSA in Nicaragua, the blend combines a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper with a Jalapa binder and filler tobaccos from Estelí, Jalapa and Ometepe. Set aside around an hour for its medium-full profile to unfold.
Tasting notes
Cocoa, molasses, cedar and roasted coffee lead the way, followed by baking spice, earth and a building pepper note. The compact Robusto Extra format keeps the Broadleaf richness concentrated throughout the smoke.
Cigar Aficionado awarded the Robusto Extra 90 points, highlighting minerals, leather, hickory and a sweet vermouth finish.
